Doll House Tour (Winter)

Hello everyone! I know the winter is almost over but I still wanted to get the winter edition of my doll house tour done. 🙂 Every season I’ll be doing one of these so you can see the different ways we decorate for the holidays/seasons. Enjoy!

(Sorry for the kinda bad quality of the photos, I used my Iphone)

Here is the general overview of the house. I’ve shrunk it down by a lot since last year.

Next stop is the kitchen which is actually the OG Camper. Occasionally I’ll use it as a bedroom as well because the sofa pulls out.

Inside the fridge you can see a beautiful plethora of yummy treats.

And of course Cookie!

Here’s the microwave cabinet with an extra stool in case guests come over.

Next to that is the wardrobe area which stores some of the clothes and shoes.

And the little kitty bed.

This area is where Ellie, Sam, and Marisol all sleep.

The top bunk is Marisol’s bed which needs some re-decorating.

And then we have Ellie’s bunk complete with Rembrandt.

Sam’s bed.

On Sam’s nighttable we have everything she needs doll, glasses, gum, lotion, water.

And the 2nd part of the house.

Under the desk we have our bookshelf with (some) of the books in the dollhouse including KOTLC, Harry Potter, and other AG Classics. 😛

Then we have Emily’s night table which is a disaster.

Here’s Emily and Molly’s room.

Blog Revamp Finished + Blue Sky Tag

Hello everyone!! I’ve finished my blog revamp and I really like the look of it. I changed up the whole style. I never got around to re-doing the dolls profiles but I can change those later. 🙂 The theme I’m now using is Button which I really like. 1. Who was the first doll that you got (doesn’t have to be AG)?

I got Jane who is my Bitty Baby as my first doll.

2. What’s your favorite American girl?

I absolutely love Kanani! I’ve been wanting to get her on Ebay for a while. She’s such a beautiful doll and I love her stories.

3. If you could design anything for American Girl what would it be?

I would totally design a Girl of the Year. It would be so much fun to pick out her story and design the doll.

4. How did you learn about American Girl?

My cousin gave me her Samantha doll when I was 6 or 7 and after that I got more clothes and eventually more dolls.

5. What’s your favorite AG pet?

It has to be Starburst, which is Chrissa’s llama. She is one of my first AG pets. I love her so much!

6. What’s your favorite item AG sells?

I love pretty much everything AG sells but these are some of my favorites from the new release!

7. What 18 inch doll brand do you like to buy from?

American Girl overall has the best quality. I also like to buy from Our Generation they have really cute clothes that are good quality.

8. Who’s your favorite AGTuber?

I don’t watch any AGtube. I used to do some myself though. 😉

9. Who’s your favorite Beforever character?

Kit is my absolute favorite doll! I’ve wanted her for a long time, she’s so adorable!

10. What’s your favorite thing to do with your dolls?

I love to photograph them and I also still play with them. My friend will come over and we’ll play AG together. 🙂

11. What’s your favorite type of doll related post?

I love photostories, they’re so much fun to write. I haven’t done one in a while but I hope to do some more soon.

My Thoughts on Luciana Vega

 

Hello everyone as you know AG just released the GOTY for 2018 and she is adorable. Today I will be overviewing her collection and my thoughts on it.

 *all pictures from American Girl

Luciana Doll and Book – $115

She is the most adorable doll. I love her. Her dress is super cute! I love her choker and boots. I’m not the biggest fan of the fanny pack I don’t think it really matches. I also love how she has a purple streak in her hair.

 

Luciana’s Accessories – $25

I don’t like her accessories very much. It seems like a lot of paper and something you could easily make yourself. I think her backpack is really cute and the astronaut ice cream is a cute touch.

Space Center Accessories – $20

I love this set only because I want a NASA t-shirt for my dolls All the other stuff I could really do without.

 

Stellar Outfit – $34

This is my favorite thing in her collection. I love the jacket with the patches and the shoes are such a fun print. The only thing I don’t really like is the shirt but I may get this outfit.

Robotic Dog – $35

This is such a fun take on the regular pets the girls have. I think it’s slightly overpriced though considering some of AG’s animals are only 20 or 25 dollars.

Mar Habitat – $350

This is such a cool set. It’s so cool! I don’t have the money to buy something like this but it is such a cool thing.

Flight Suit – $28

I don’t have much need for this in my collection. I think it’s cute though.

Luciana’s PJs – $24

These are super cute. I love the leggings, I didn’t actually think these were PJ’s the first time I saw them. I think they could definitely think they could be used as a regular outfit.

Creation Station – $100

This set is also super cute. I love how they included actual legos that’s so fun. I feel that the set is a little overpriced for what it is. I’ll probably try to recreate it sometime though.

Telescope Set – $40

This set is so cute!! I love the telescope the print on the blanket is cute as well.

So that’s all of Luciana’s collection! I’m really excited about her stuff in her collection and will be most likely purchasing a few of the outfits. 🙂

Holiday Twist Hairstyle

Hello everyone! Today I’ll be showing you how to do a hairstyle perfect for the holiday season. Here’s what you’ll need.

• Bobby pins
• Spray bottle
• Hairbrush
• Bow (optional)

All right now you know what you need now let’s learn how to do it

First spray down the hair with water or I’ve made a hair concoction which is just water with a little bit of conditioner in it.

After that take a strand of hair from the front.

Then slowly pull the hair back make sure the hair flows nicely and isn’t bumpy.

Then start braiding. If you don’t know how to braid try this tutorial. HERE!

After you’ve braided then start pulling the braid to the middle of the head.

Wrap it around the rest of the hair to create a nice little pony.

Add a little bow and your done!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you had a spectacular Thanksgiving and ate lots of delicious food.

Kristen’s POV

Thanksgiving dinner had been eaten and everyone had settled down and put on their PJ’s.

“Is it time to do the Circle of Thanks?” asked Emily excitedly.

“What’s the Circle of Thanks?” asked Ellie.

“Oh you weren’t here last year Ellie! It’s our annual Thanksgiving tradition. We take a stuffed animal and toss it around and once it’s thrown to you, super fast you have to say 3 things your thankful for.” said Emily.

“Here we go!” cried Emily tossing it high in the air.

“Family, Friends, and Food.” I said.

“Ahh!” cried Ellie who was obviously flustered by our fast paced game.

“Umm.. pancakes, Iphones, and comfy pillows.” she cried.

“Books, church, and soccer.” said Marisol.

“Leggings, all our pets, and y’all.” said Sam.

“Minecraft, nature, and sports.” said Molly.

Then Molly did the unspoken she threw the animal into the middle.

And chaos broke out.

The Great Doggie Escape

 

Hello everyone! Sorry for no Fourth of July post. I was sick, but I’m better now! I did manage to capture some pictures of our neighborhood fireworks! Those will be at the end of this post. Now, I promised a photo-story would be coming and here it is. 😀

“Okay Cookie, ready for some training!” I said, trying to sound excited. Marisol had entrusted more like threatened me into training Cookie. Her exact words were…

“Molly you need to train Cookie or I will hold your lizard ransom.” It was very violent.

“Cookie, sit.” I commanded. Marisol had been working with Cookie for a few weeks. He knew some basic commands.

“Good boy, Cookie!” I said rewarding him a with a dog biscuit.

“Stay.” I said, slowly I backed away.

“Nice, this is easier than I thought.” I whispered.

All of a sudden a cat shot through the yard.

“COOKIE! NO!” I yelled, chasing after Cookie who was running after the cat.

The cat crawled under the fence and away.

Just as Cookie tried to go under, I leapt after him. He slithered out of my grasp and away.

“Marisol’s gonna kill me.” I muttered sadly.

“COOKIE! COOKIE!” I yelled searching for him.

“Cookie, here boy.” I called walking all throughout the neighborhood.

Exhausted, I slumped onto the doorstep. It’s no use.. he’s gone. I thought sadly, laying a treat on the doorstep just in case.

Then I heard a bark and bounding up came Cookie!

“Cookie!” I cried.

“Never run off again!” I said snuggling him close.

“And don’t tell Marisol.” I said walking into the house.

AG Summer Releases

 

AG released there summer collection a few days ago, and I love it so much. So many of the new things are on my wish list. I’ll be reviewing the Truly Me things today. AG came out with a lot this summer so it’ll most likely span over 2 posts. 😉

1. New “Truly Me” Dolls

 

Truly Me Doll #67 – $115

She is so cute. Her hair is beautiful, she has by far the longest hair of a TM doll.

Truly Me Doll #68 – $115

This doll is cute, I guess. I don’t really like how she looks though.

2. Truly Me Clothing/Accessories/Pets/and More

American Girl Grand Hotel – $275

So cool. This set has 2 sides a hotel lobby and a hotel room. This set is WAY to expensive but a really creative idea.

Hotel Luggage Cart – $50

Little Coconut is adorable! This set really wouldn’t work unless you have the hotel room. It also is a tad overpriced in my opinion.

Grand Hotel Breakfast – $34

This set is awesome. Doll bacon is always needed. I love the realistic pieces.

Travel in Style Luggage – $36

This set is cute. It reminds me of Grace’s luggage. I have multiple suitcases for my dolls. So I most likely will not be getting this.

Travel in Style Outfit – $28

Love, love, love the purple dress. The shoes are so cute. I don’t think I’ll purchase this one unless it goes on sale later in the year.

Travel in Style Accessories – $28

 

This set really doesn’t impress me. OG sells a set almost exactly the same. I do love the polka-a-dot neck pillow. ❤

Corduroy Dress – $14 (shoes not included)

I love this dress is so pretty. The pink accents make the dress really pop!

Print Tank – $10 

I don’t really like this tank. The flower print doesn’t really… do much for me.

Purple Skirt – $10

This skirt is really pretty. It reminds me a lot of Kaya’s collection. I want this skirt! 🙂

Collared Sweater – $12

I’m not a fan of this one either. The jewels on the sleeves are kinda ugly.

Corduroy Pants – $12

These pants are a pretty color. I think they’d match a lot of my clothing.

Knit Sweater – $10

NEED THIS! I don’t know why I love this sweater so much. I just think it’s the most adorable thing ever.

Mesh Skirt – $10

Also would like this. It’s very fairy themed.

Peplum Top – $10 

This top is so pretty. I love how AG has started making a little bit more fancy clothing as well as casual.

Tweed Shorts – $10 

These are cute. The checkered print may not match everything though.

 

School Backpack – $28

I love the design of the backpack! I already have a lot of school things though.

Star Soccer Set – $34

I love the new jersey the stripes look really cool. The cleats are also very realistic. I’m not a big soccer fan so.. I most likely won’t be getting this set.

School Lunch – $24

TACO’S!!!! Yes, I need these dollie tacos. 😛 I don’t like the veggies and lump of something though.

School Locker – $50

I like the purple locker from last year better. This one is cute though because it comes with all the little locker accessories. I love the emoji stickers. 😀

School Pet Hamster – $24

SO CUTE! AG hasn’t had a hamster since Mckenna’s collection. I’m really glad they made one. The little cage is AHH! I need a hamster..

French Bulldog – $28

He’s a little cutie. I have a lot of pets already but this doggie is quite adorable. ❤

Pet Bath Outfit – $18

I don’t see the point in this. I’ve never understood the pet outfits who uses them.

Crown Pet Bed – $28

To expensive but a nice color.

Tuxedo Cat – $28

Finally, a cat! AG has a million dogs but finally a kitty! Isn’t she just so cute. ❤

Fancy Pet Outfit – $18

This is actually cute. I love the bow, the shawl is kinda cute.

Chevron Pet Bed – $26

This is the first pet bed, AG’s made that I like. The color’s are nice and it looks pretty sturdy.

Fashion Tee – $10

I like this shirt. It’s super cute, I really want this.

That’s all the TM stuff. I think AG did a great job with all of it.

Hello again everyone! I got back from church camp yesterday it was amazing! We went to St. Louis, Missouri and went to the arch, Six Flags, and did many other fun things! 1. If  your house was on fire which doll would you save?

Oh! This is really hard… I’d have to say probably Samantha, she’s my oldest doll and I love her so much.

2.  Who is your oldest doll and when did you get her?

My oldest doll is Samantha, I got her from my cousin when I was 6.. I think.

3.  What’s one weird obsession you have?

I have a very strange obsession with unicorns and Pusheen the cat!

Hot Chocolate! SO YUMMY!

5.  What’s your favorite dessert?

 Hard! Probably my mom’s cookies they are the best thing ever.

I really love Julie her hair is so pretty.

No.. I wouldn’t I love all my dolls!

I think of people in my life or.. you can use The Story Shack

Probably Emily, I’m really energetic and quirky!

Yes. I have a ton of Ever After Highs which you can learn about here Meet the Smaller Dolls!  I also have 1 Bitty Baby, a set of Bitty Twins, and a few mini dolls.

7. Which one of your dolls are you least like and why?

 Definitely, Marisol she’s so considered about clothes and very prideful! 😉

8. How many times have you been to an American Girl store?

I honestly have no clue at least 8 times if not a few more.

9. If you were a BeForever doll, which time period would you like to be from?

The 1950’s, I love that time period.

10. If you were a doll, (any type), what would your meet outfit look like?

It would be a pair of gym shorts with bike shorts underneath and a softball shirt, along with a pair of sandals and a baseball cap.
